Divorce His, Divorce Hers

Living in Rome, Jane (Elizabeth Taylor) and Martin Reynolds (Richard Burton) come to  the distressing end of a long marriage. The collapsing relationship is presented firstly from Martin's view point, and then the story is told from Jane's. They are a couple with very contrasting demands. Martin is a businessman who is evasive and indifferent, and Jane will do absolutely anything to get his consideration. Eventually the relationship skirts on malice as he bores of her scheming. Jane is increasingly embittered with his lack of attention and her dull life.
